Biologist, head of the Paris hospital laboratory. In 1948, he created the AMIF, an association of Jewish doctors in France. He was the first president of the Cercle Bernard Lazare.
Master André Blumel
(1893-1973)
Journalist then lawyer. SFIO socialist activist from 1911, then one of the party leaders. Director of Léon Blum's cabinet at Matignon in 1936. Former resistance fighter.


Hughes Steiner
(1926-1991)
Resistant, former deportee. Talented pianist. Business manager, Steiner Seats. President of the Cercle from 1985 to 1991.
Henry Bulawko
(1918-2011)
Journalist, writer. Former resistant, former deportee. Activist for memory and for the fight against anti-Semitism. Honorary President of the Cercle Bernard Lazare in 1957. Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor.
